Thought to ponder:

A few conquer by fighting, but it is well to remember that more battles are won by submitting..=)

Opencell changed my L.I.F.E.

Opencell. The first time I joined an opencell was when I was invited by Micah in her opencell in Precious School of Davao. I once asked myself, what is an opencell? What are we going to do in an opencell? The first answer that comes to my mind was sharing of life experiences, heartaches, family problems, etc... A some kind of boring group discussions. Full of crying, hugging, and comforting with one another. Of course at first, I had hesitations on joining Micah's opencell because I really HATE sharing. I'm shy. But I don't know what happened but my heart tells me to go. A small voice was telling me to just try and go to her opencell. With curiosity, I joined Micah's cell eventhough a part of me was telling me not to go because I'm shy with group discussions.

During the opencell, I was shocked that it was not about what I thought it would be. Opencell is fun! I enjoyed Micah's cell. We had games, ice breaker to keep us interactive. I met new girl friends. And most importantly, I was really blessed with the Word I received. I think the best part of an opencell is hearing the Word of God. Every week we encounter problems, trials and testings and that is why having a weekly opencell would really helped us in facing our weekly problems and challenges by hearing the Word of God. It guides, teaches, rebukes, disciplines and gives encouragement. Whenever we are down, confused, and the answers to our problems are not clear, the Word of God will guide our every step. And from that day on, every week, I really joined Micah's cell. Through the opencell, my confidence increased and my social skills were developed. Before, I was a timid girl with low self esteem. From a lady of shyfulness to a woman of power and confidence. Weeeee!

Opencell brought a dramatic changed in my life. I became close to God. I get to know Him deeper. Who can say opencells are boring?? definitely, it's not! Opencell is not just pure fun but you get something "meaty", something that you're hungry for... missing in your life and that is the Word of God. Joining an opencell is a choice and an opportunity to get close with God and get right with your life. I made a right choice and that choice is saying Yes! to opencell.

And now, I'm already a cell leader. I do have my opencell in PISD every Thursday. I really enjoyed what I'm doing and doing for God's Glory! All we need is a YES. Yes to opencell. And you'll experience a life full of God's love and mercy. I encouraged everyone to be part of an opencell now..
